Vai Fuala’au ‘Aina - Vai fala ma le Meleni (Pineapple and Watermelon Smoothie)

This refreshing summer smoothie is a favourite at PIPC A’oga Amata, a Samoan language early childhood centre in Newtown, Wellington. They have recently built a lovely outside area which has a fale, vegetable garden and water play area. Once every two to three weeks over summer, the children enjoy this refreshing fruit smoothie – the children have been known to pick the mint a little over-enthusiastically!
