No-bake fruity slice

A handy treat to make without using an oven.

No-bake fruity slice

Method

  1. In food processor blend wheat biscuits, sunflower seeds and apricots until smooth.
  2. Add water and blend until combined.
  3. Push into a 15cm x 20cm or similar sized slice tin.  It should be approximately 1 ½ cm thick.
  4. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before cutting to allow it to become more firm.

Variation

For extra crunch, replace half of the dried apricots with dried figs.

You need

  • 4 (65g) wheat biscuits (breakfast cereal)
  • 1 cup (150g) sunflower seeds
  • 1 cup (200g) dried apricots
  • 3 Tbsp (45ml) water

Method
