Moroccan Lamb Pizza

A tasty way to increase iron and the children will love!

Moroccan Lamb Pizza

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C.
  2. Heat the oil in a frypan, add the onion and crushed garlic and cook over medium heat for 1 minute.
  3. Add the mince and cook until browned, breaking the meat up with a fork.
  4. Drain any excess oil from the pan.
  5. Add the tomatoes, ground cumin, ground coriander and cinnamon and cook for 5 minutes.
  6. Stir in the fresh coriander and lemon juice.
  7. Spread the mixture over the pizza bases and sprinkle with cheese and pinenuts.
  8. Bake for 10 minutes or until the cheese has melted and the pizza is heated through.

  • 1 garlic, clove
  • 225g lean lamb
  • 1/2 cup tomatoes, canned chopped
  • 1 teaspoon ground Cumin
  • 1 teaspoon ground Coriander
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon fresh coriander, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon lemon Juice
  • 4 single serve wholemeal pizza bases
  • 1/2 cup low fat cheese, grated
  • 2 tablespoons pinenuts
