Meatballs

For an everyday meal option serve these meatballs with salad or vegetables.

Method

  1. In a large bowl combine all ingredients, mix with your hands to combine.
  2. Form into 12 meatballs and place on a broiler pan.
  3. Bake at 180°C for 25-30 minutes until the meatballs are no longer pink in the centre.
  4. Allow the meatballs to cool down before serving.
  5. Serve with a salad or vegetables and pasta.

You need

  • 400g lean beef mince
  • 1/2 onion, finely chopped
  • 1/2 carrot, grated
  • 50g courgette, grated
  • 1 egg
  • 1 Tbsp wholemeal flour
  • 1 Tbsp herbs, spring onion, parsley, coriander
  • pinch black pepper
