New research shows better menus in early learning services with Heart Foundation programme

New research by the University of Auckland shows that while many Auckland and Waikato early learning services surveyed didn’t meet nutritional guidelines, centres in the Heart Foundation Healthy Heart Award programme achieved high menu scores.

Our 21 Nutrition Advisors currently work with more than 1,000 centres throughout New Zealand providing one on one support, helpful resources and professional development workshops to help create healthy eating and activity environments.

This support is available to any early learning service in New Zealand free of charge at learnbyheart.org.nz.
